Introduction to Yoni steaming | 4 week course

Dearest Queen/Quxxn,

Do you have a longing to reconnect with your Yoni and yourself on a deeper level? Have you heard of Yoni steaming and thought.."er, what now?" Or had a curiosity about it but haven't found the right place/person to tell you more about it?

Look no further! This is an online 4-week, in-depth course exploring the ancient ritual that is Yoni steaming and suitable for total newbies to the experienced steamer. The dates and times are:

• Monday 3rd January, 6pm - 9pm
• Monday 10th January, 6pm - 9pm
• Monday Tuesday 17th January, 6pm - 9pm
• Monday 24th January, 6pm - 9pm

This isn’t a fad or an extravagant spa treatment. It’s a time-tested healing experience that helps you to relax and get back to yourself. It’s a chance for women to rediscover the balance within and give our Yoni's the love and care that befits the beautiful, sacred source of our femininity.

Yoni steaming is also about giving women/womxn the chance to take back control of our personal health. By using carefully selected botanical infusions, we can use the gifts of the earth to support and nourish our Yoni.

We'll gather together in the safety of a sister/sxster circle to find out about the:

• when
• how
• why

Though modern, Western science and medicine doesn't support Yoni steaming (does anyone else sniff the patriarchy here...?!) it is indeed a physiological process that touches on every system in our body. So let's get to it!

Week 1

• Yoni steaming: it's origins , evolution, disappearance & re-emergence
• The history of sisterhood: from matrilineal societies to patriarchy
• The body systems & detailed look at the make up of our Yoni
• Botany/herbalism: a detailed look at common herbs used and their properties

Week 2

• You & your Yoni: a revisionist look at your Yoni story & rewriting YOUR story
• The history of Black women & gynaecology
• How stress & unprocessed emotions effect your hips & Yoni
• YONI STEAM!!!

Week 3

• The history of medicine: lay-healers & midwives to medicine men
• From 'Shame to Show-off!': a detailed look at your cycle
• Reclaiming your feminine essence/power
• YONI STEAM (only recommended for those who have previous/regular experience)

Week 4

• VULVA LA LOVE-LUTION! You'll have to wait and see....
• Botany/herbalism quiz
• Rewriting YOUR story: what womanhood looks like you YOU
• Your inner alchemist: energetic property of herbs
• YONI STEAM!!!

You'll be given:

1. all of the reading materials which will also be on a slideshow/presentation
2. Herbs for the steam x2
3. a Yoni massage balm for you to use for rituals - you'll be told what they are and how to do them
4. HOMEWORK! Don't worry - it's just self-exploration work which you are welcome to share with the group or not

So that's the course! Each one will have a relaxation and embodiment session to help you relax and be present with self. If you have any injuries please let me know so I can provide adjustments.

Please get in touch if you have any questions. During the workshops, please make sure you're seated comfortably, have room around you to move, a bowl/container for your herbal mix to steam with and water/herbal tea.
